Fall Photo Ideas

Have you heard about the Fall Photo Contest I'm hosting? If not, check it out here!

When I think of photographing this season, I think of leaves changing colors. However, fall foliage only lasts for so long. I've attached a prediction map below from smokymountains.com from now until November 30th.

As you can see, the beautiful colors fall leaves display come and go quickly. The colder the weather, the faster they go. So what else can you photograph to submit for the photo contest? Here are some ideas!

  • Colorful leaves on the ground ( action shot of jumping into a leaf pile)

  • Fall fashion

  • Thanksgiving dinner

  • Thanksgiving decorations

  • Pumpkin picking

  • Apple picking

  • Sporting events that take place during the fall; for example, football

  • Fall festivals

  • Bonfire

  • Hayrides

  • Corn mazes

  • Hikes

  • Submit photos you've already taken earlier this season

Whatever the fall season means to you, capture it! Whether it be on a smartphone or a camera, doesn't matter. I just want to see your creativity! I hope these suggestions sparked some ideas and inspiration.
